Take the N2 North towards Richards Bay. Drive approximately 100 kms north then take the Mandeni/Tugela Mouth off-ramp, turn right (East) over the highway toward Tugela mouth. The tar road becomes dirt, follow the dirt road and at the V in the road keep right. After +/- 5kms you get into Tugela River Mouth Village. The tar will start again, keep straight and drive approximately 1kms and look for the colourful Sensayuma Backpackers sign on your left. You have arrived at paradise. Ring the intercom bell for assistance.

Need to be collected from the airport? No problem at all as we have our own Airport Shuttle Service. All you need to do is let us know your time of arrival and date and we will be there to fetch you in our flashy tour bus  We have good rates for group bookings so get your friends to join you.

We are situated approximately 100kms north of the King Shaka/ Durban International Airport and it is a one-hour drive. We can also stop at a big shopping mall along the way if you have forgotten something.

Worried about not having your own vehicle while you are here? 

Don’t stress we got you covered. Look at our wide range of guided tours to local game reserves, hidden beaches and old growth forests or take a day trip and explore the Zulu Culture and History or find some local craft beer. We have transfers to the best local water sport locations and can even show you a secret surf break or two. We guarantee to keep you full of smiles and happily busy for days on end. Trips to local malls can also be arranged incase of urgent retail therapy.

When you eventually feel the need to move on from here, although you won’t want to, we can book you a spot on one of the many passing tour and shuttle bus companies running along our coastline.
